Automating the Construction of Dynamic and Multi-Resolution 360° Panorama for Natural Scenes with Moving Objects
نویسندگان
چکیده
A new approach is presented to automatically build a dynamic and multi-resolution 360° panorama (DMP) from image sequences taken by a hand-held camera. A multiresolution representation is built for the more interesting areas by means of camera zooming. The dynamic objects in the scene can be detected and represented separately. The DMP construction method is fast, robust and automatic, achieving 1 Hz in a 266 MHz PC.

Fast Construction of Dynamic and Multi-Resolution 360° Panoramas from Video Sequences
This paper presents a unified approach to automatically build dynamic and multi-resolution 360° panoramic (DMP) representations from image sequences captured by hand-held cameras mainly undertaking rotation and zooming for natural scenes with moving targets. A simple (yet stable) rigid motion model and a closed-loop-based mosaicing algorithm are proposed to generate cylindrical mosaics automati...
متن کاملStatistical Background Modeling Based on Velocity and Orientation of Moving Objects
Background modeling is an important step in moving object detection and tracking. In this paper, we propose a new statistical approach in which, a sequence of frames are selected according to velocity and direction of some moving objects and then an initial background is modeled, based on the detection of gray pixel's value changes. To have used this sequence of frames, no estimator or distribu...
متن کاملMoving Objects Tracking Using Statistical Models
Object detection plays an important role in successfulness of a wide range of applications that involve images as input data. In this paper we have presented a new approach for background modeling by nonconsecutive frames differencing. Direction and velocity of moving objects have been extracted in order to get an appropriate sequence of frames to perform frame subtraction. Stationary parts of ...
متن کاملAutomatic Disparity Control in Stereo Panoramas (OmniStereo)
An omnistereo panorama consists of a pair of panoramic images, where one panorama is for the left eye, and another panorama is for the right eye. An omnistereo pair provides a stereo sensation up to a full 360 degrees. OmniStereo panoramas can be created by mosaicing images from a rotating video camera, or by specially designed cameras. The stereo sensation is a function of the disparity betwee...
